Luke, do we even need x11-libs/amd-adl-sdk anymore?
Yes, we need it. At least for app-misc/ddccontrol. I don't know if the bitcoin miners really need it.
(In reply to Anthony Basile from comment #1) > Luke, do we even need x11-libs/amd-adl-sdk anymore? BFGMiner hasn't needed it for a *long* time. As I understand it, cgminer has removed OpenCL support recently, so also shouldn't need it. Manuel, would you like to take over maintenance?
(In reply to Luke-Jr from comment #3) > Manuel, would you like to take over maintenance? Yep, I can take over.
Nothing for proxy-maintainers to do here as far as I can tell
(In reply to Manuel Rüger from comment #4) > (In reply to Luke-Jr from comment #3) > > Manuel, would you like to take over maintenance? > > Yep, I can take over. Okay I've added you as the principle maintainer. I've removed Luke-jr, and I'll stick around as secondary maintainer.
Hmm, side question: would ddccontrol compile with my free ADL-replacement headers? Maybe I should be splitting those out?
(In reply to Luke-Jr from comment #7) > Hmm, side question: would ddccontrol compile with my free ADL-replacement > headers? Maybe I should be splitting those out? We could give this a try. I'm willing to test.
*amd-adl-sdk-6.0 (25 Nov 2013) 25 Nov 2013; Manuel Rüger <mrueg@gentoo.org> +amd-adl-sdk-6.0.ebuild, -amd-adl-sdk-3.0.ebuild, -amd-adl-sdk-5.0.ebuild: Version bump. Fix HOMEPAGE. Cleanup old. I've added 6.0 to the tree. Do you think we can mirror this on a devspace, or doesn't license allow us to do this?
