!!! ERROR: net-im/gaim-0.77 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 87, Exitcode 2
!!! Make failed

My USE flags and other settings are pretty non-standard so it's likely that one of them is causing this. If I can figure out which one I'll post it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge gaim-0.77

Actual Results:
Compile failure

Expected Results:
Gaim should compile

I'll first ask you to tame your CFLAGS. Try the default.
Comment 3 Don Seiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-27 14:10:11 UTC
Also in case we need it you should attach the config.log from the ${S} directory.
Comment 4 Dan Elder 2004-04-29 08:07:28 UTC
Sorry, it looks like it was my fault. I emerged gaim 10 different ways yesterday starting with minimal CFLAGS all the way up to my full CFLAGS and it worked fine each time. After having several other weird issues with my laptop I ran memtest86 on it for a few hours and found some errors that weren't there before. Looks like bad hardware was to blame. I can't duplicate the error anymore. Sorry for the false bug report.
