I was trying to emerge sci-biology/picard and got this prompt: The following keyword changes are necessary to proceed: (see "package.accept_keywords" in the portage(5) man page for more details) # required by sci-biology/picard (argument) =sci-biology/picard-1.63 ~amd64 The following mask changes are necessary to proceed: (see "package.unmask" in the portage(5) man page for more details) # required by sci-biology/picard (argument) # /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask: # Diego E. Pettenò <flameeyes@gentoo.org> (08 Aug 2009) # on behalf of QA Team # # Mass-masking of live ebuilds; we cannot guarantee working state of # live ebuilds, nor the availability of the server hosting them. As # per QA team policy, all these need to be kept masked by default, if # available in the tree. # rdep for sci-astronomy/casacore =sci-biology/picard-1.63 NOTE: The --autounmask-keep-masks option will prevent emerge from creating package.unmask or ** keyword changes. Reproducible: Always Picard-1.63 is too old. There is new version 1.103 on http://picard.sourceforge.net/. I wonder to know if the new version still fails on the QA criteria?
An updated ebuild is now in the portage and should reach the mirrors soon. Please let me know if you have any troubles with it. + 24 Nov 2013; Johann Schmitz <ercpe@gentoo.org> +files/1.103-gentoo.patch, + +picard-1.103.ebuild, metadata.xml: + Version bump and reworked ebuild for sci-biology/picard.
