When trying to emerge nvidia-glx-1.0.4363 (to check if going back a version fixes fb problems), I get the following output: >>> emerge (2 of 2) media-video/nvidia-glx-1.0.4363 to / >>> md5 src_uri ;-) NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4363.tar.gz >>> Unpacking source... >>> Unpacking NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4363.tar.gz to /var/tmp/portage/nvidia-glx-1.0.4363/work RUNNING FROM extra_functions.sh * Cannot find $EPATCH_SOURCE! I have obtained a copy of /usr/portage/media-video/nvidia-glx/files/nvidia-glx-1.0.4191-defines.patch from http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:FG5zCvGTlNwJ:www.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu/pub/gentoo/gentoo-x86-portage/media-video/nvidia-glx/files/nvidia-glx-1.0.4191-defines.patch+nvidia-glx-1.0.4191-defines.patch&hl=en and the compile has been completed.
Have you tried the current unstable Version 1.0.5336-r2?
I'm currently using the nv driver with nvtv and I'm happy with that.
Andrew can you check this out please?
Fixed in CVS (named the patch -4363-defines.patch this time so it wont be removed accidently again)... Closing.
