xombrero does not use aproxy as descript by the http_proxy variable set in ~/.xombrero.conf. If the environment does not provide a definition of http_proxy, no proxy is used. Otherwise the environment's http_proxy value is used, despite xombrero (1) clearly stating that the definition inside the configuration file overwrites the environment variable. 
 Other settings from the configuration file are honoured by xombrero.
