Since upgrading to pandoc 1.12, pandoc fails with an error when I try to use citations via citeproc-hs. It seems that a file called pandoc-citeproc which was previously installed either by pandoc itself or by citeproc-hs has disappeared. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: pandoc mereology.text --bibliography=$HOME/bibliography.mods Actual Results: pandoc: Error running filter pandoc-citeproc fd:4: hClose: resource vanished I'd also like you to attack minimal example to reproduce and debug failure. Thanks!
Created attachment 363560 [details] bibliography file for testcase
Created attachment 363562 [details] markdown input for test case
I've uploaded suitable input files as attachments to test with. The following incantation works on pandoc 0.11.1-r1: pandoc --bibliography=test.mods test.text producing the following output:
(Jubien 1991)

Jubien, Michael. 1991. “Could This Be Magic.” The Philosophical Review 100 (2) (April 1): 249–267. doi:10.2307/2185302. http://www.jstor.org/stable/2185302.
I'll try with pandoc 0.12.1 when I get a chance.
Just tried test case with pandoc-1.12.1, pandoc-types-1.12.3: $ pandoc --bibliography=test.mods test.text pandoc: Error running filter pandoc-citeproc pandoc-citeproc not found in path $

I've added dev-haskell/pandoc-citeproc: >*pandoc-citeproc-0.1.2.1 (20 Nov 2013) > > 20 Nov 2013; Sergei Trofimovich <slyfox@gentoo.org> +metadata.xml, > +pandoc-citeproc-0.1.2.1.ebuild: > Initial commit. Supports using pandoc with citeproc. but didn't add it as a depend to pandoc yet. I'll ask upstream if they are OK to depend on pandoc-citeproc right in .cabal file.
app-text/pandoc-1.12.1 + dev-haskell/pandoc-citeproc-0.1.2.1 fix the problem for me. Thanks!
