Description Daniel Augustin 2013-11-04 19:59:52 UTC
VMware Workstation 10.0.1 is available.

Portage tree: 10.0.0.1295980
VMware-Website: 10.0.1.1379776

I have attached new ebuilds for vmware-tools, vmware-modules and vmware-workstation.

-modules and -workstation are just renames, vmware-tools includes an enhancement/fix on the source uri.

Reproducible: Always

just a note, the PaX patch will have to be updated for vmware-modules.
Comment 5 Harris Landgarten 2013-11-05 18:31:37 UTC
running 10.0.1 with other ebuilds attached. All went smoothly. Vmware-modules still needs some patches for linux-3.12

All bumped.

@ PaX Team: I have absolutely no knowledge there and would be very grateful for a separate bug with pointers to the patches.

@ Harris: please file a separate bug or add the info if there is already a "vmware-modules+3.12" bug

i took a look and it's really simple, just remove the vmci-only/* hunks and the rest will apply (and is still needed).
