Description Walter 2013-11-03 04:05:51 UTC
Despite installing imlib2 with jpeg support, I am getting 'Couldn't recognize the image file format' when trying to view JPEG files.

file output: 'JPEG image data, JFIF standard 1.01'
identify output: 'JPEG 988x700 988x700+0+0 8-bit DirectClass 167KB 0.000u 0:00.000'

Views fine in mozilla. I think it's not the file, rather the tool.

Can repeat with any other JPEG file I've tested with (quite a few).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. qiv somefile.jpg
Actual Results:
Receive "Unable to read file: Couldn't recognize the image file format for file 'filename.jpg'"

Expected Results:
qiv launches and views image.

$ emerge -av imlib2

Closing since everything appears to work for me with 2.3.2.
