When trying to build gnome-base/gnome-settings-daemon-3.8.5, the ebuild errors in the configure block with the following message: "configure: error: GUdev is necessary to compile Wacom support".  This is happening even when DEVICES="-wacom", which to me would mean no Wacom support is needed.
