The `scroll-top-left' command does not scroll to the top at all (it does
scroll to the left though).

The issue is solved in the last snapshot of conkeror (see conkeror's git), add a ebuild of this snapshot (Oct 17) to portage please

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install firefox >= 24
2. Install conkeror
3. use "scroll-top-left" command or "M-<" keybind

Every version prior to 20131017 has this issue with firefox-24:

www-client/conkeror-1.0_pre20120223
www-client/conkeror-1.0_pre20130711

"cmd_scrollBottom" or "M->" works fine but "scroll-top-left" doesn't.

So, it is fixed in www-client/conkeror-1.0_pre20131017?

Which I had already committed to CVS two hours before you filed this bug:
