Parcellite-1.1.7 segfaults on startup; no other error messages than this in kernel logs:

Oct 20 13:53:41 wintermute kernel: parcellite[3250]: segfault at 0 ip 000000000040e671 sp 00007fff34409560 error 4 in parcellite[400000+16000]

1.1.6 works as expected.

Any change to try this patch?

I was experiencing the same segfaults running 1.1.7 (32 bit x86) and the r491 patch listed above does in fact fix it for me.
Comment 5 Gino McCarty 2014-01-23 06:27:19 UTC
been running 1.1.7 for some time now, no seg fault issues at all..
Comment 6 Jouni Rinne 2014-04-19 12:08:35 UTC
Something in the old (i.e. 1.1.6 version) config files was causing the segfault. I needed to track down every reference to parcellite in the dotfiles and -directories and remove them. Clean install of 1.1.7 works now, you can set this bug as resolved.
