Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install xorg x11 6.7.0 2. openglupdate xorg-x11 3. emerge ="kde-3.2.1" Actual Results: Calculating dependencies.... .... Cdparanoia has errors => the emerge fails Expected Results: Install kde 3.2.1 Kernel 2.4.24 (vanilla sources)
"emerge sync && emerge -uUD world" fixes that
Ok I will try this asap....
Be carefull with the following command: "emerge sync && emerge -uUD world" ==> I had to reconfigure everything :(
Update: with the emerge -uUD world it downloaded apperantely the latest distfiles. cdparanoia seemed to compile without a hitch. I will leave this bug open for the moment.
Ok here is the result of the latest emerge: kdelibs 3.2.1 : Recursive call in function (Unknown) Portage is being cancelled with an error. I really don't wich one. This give me a very bad headache.... :(
well, the cdparanoia error isn't here anymore. if you have other problems with kde, try the forums or open a new bug please.
