Description Joakim Tjernlund 2013-10-18 13:15:25 UTC
Would it be possible to add the Server JRE to gentoo as well?
Comment 1 Joakim Tjernlund 2016-08-26 15:42:16 UTC
I have no need for this anymore.

To be honest, I question the usefulness anyway. It doesn't include an installer or auto-update, which is only relevant to Windows. It doesn't include the browser plugin, which we control with USE flags anyway. It mentions "tools commonly required for server deployments" but I don't know what these are. Given that we're a source-based distro, you're probably going to need a JDK in any case.
