Please, add a development version of GNU Octave to portage.
My attempt to write an ebuild fails in different ways just trying to clone the repo. With upstream's use of a subrepo I can not find a reliable way to clone and update from it. Almost 7 years and nothing happened, and it also would not make sense without a dedicated maintainer.
