I ran into the buffer overflow puke as described here: http://sourceforge.net/p/oww/discussion/296766/thread/d70ded69/ Simon Melhuish, the maintainer of oww, says the buffer overflow problem was fixed in 0.86.3 and later. 0.86.4 is out, might as well bump to that. A little side fix while we're doing the version bump: I need to compile oww without gtk support using the a "-gtk" use flag. Even with -gtk, it still requires the gtk libraries. I would propose a small change to the ebuild file (which I will attach shortly). I have tested it, and it works fine. I'm running owwnogui with that change now, and with no X or gtk dependencies. Reproducible: Always
