Looks like haxml-1.13 is a bit outdated and not compatible with current stable ghc. I suppose it's time to stabilize a 1.2x.

Yeah, the thing is really old (pre-hierarchical modules).
Gets handled with bug #488750.

haxml-1.24 is stable now.
