Description Russ Brown 2004-04-22 05:24:51 UTC
I have tried emerging both available versions of adobesvg without success. I have tried using the plugin in both Mozilla 1.6-r1 and Opera 7.50_alpha4. Version 3.0 does not appear to register with either browser. Version 3.01b registers but does not work. In Mozilla it mainly shows a grey area where the drawing should be and in some cases crashes the browser. It causes Opera to create multiple instances of xmotifwrapper which consume all available CPU time.

I have installed the plugin directly from Abobe's site, and it works flawlessly in both browsers.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge adobesvg
2. Ensure that browser is seeing the plugin
3. View some svg via the browser

Actual Results:
Opera goes mad and consumes shed-loads of CPU time. Mozilla mainly shows a grey area and
sometimes crashes.

Expected Results:
Displayed the SVG drawing properly.
