By default the javahl java-bindings are not built during the subversion emerge.
Several (java) gui clients/plugins depend on these jni bindings, & building them by hand is non trivial.
A way to do this has been described (not by me...) at http://freeroller.net/page/saimonm?catname=Technology

I've added them to the 1.0.2 ebuild. Note that you must have both berkdb and java in your useflags for the javahl library to be build.
