Since v3.4.1 of sci-libs/geos the osm2pgsql package failed to compile because of the missing include file geos/platform.h

FreeBSD guys have the same issue and published a patch for their ports system:

ebuild patch to include and apply the source patch

using this ebuild and the already attached patch sci-geosciences/osm2pgsql-99999999 compiles fine.

I know that this is probably a short term solution only, and the examination should go into the effort to fix osm2pgsql, but it helped me for now.

confirmed, geos installation overlook platform.h
could the geos ebuild be patched please ?

 Confirmed, same thing, had to downgrade Geos
