Comment 1 Daniel Pielmeier gentoo-dev 2013-09-27 17:54:38 UTC
You are right, the tests are failing here as well. I guess this has something to do with portage-2.2. I get asked for a password for the tests. If I disable the FEATURE userpriv no password is required but one test "tc_pos_print_fs_info_fat32" still fails. Do you experience the same?
Comment 2 Daniel Pielmeier gentoo-dev 2013-09-27 18:55:46 UTC
The problem seems to be userpriv enabled by default as discussed on the gentoo-dev mailing list in July. The tests of fatsort however require root privileges. Adding RESTRICT="test? ( userpriv )" to the ebuild should do the trick. I will contact upstream regarding the remaining failing test.
Comment 3 Daniel Pielmeier gentoo-dev 2013-10-13 09:10:39 UTC
I have contacted upstream about the failing test. The test itself was okay but the results were compared with the wrong expected results. This is already fixed in upstream SVN and will be in the next release.
