/opt/nwn/nwn: line 63: 17821 Segmentation fault      ./nwmain $@

emerge apparently went fine, however "nwn" from terminal, & shortcut in xfce4 menu bring up black screen, then back to desktop.  amd64

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge nwn
2.in terminal 'nwn' no '' marks
3. /opt/nwn/nwn: line 63: 17821 Segmentation fault      ./nwmain $@
Actual Results:  
/opt/nwn/nwn: line 63: 17821 Segmentation fault      ./nwmain $@

Expected Results:

Can you please attach the results of emerge --info and a backtrace as explained in [1]?

I can confirm my main machine does not have such an issue as my son played NWN on it recently. I will try and find the time to make a clean install on another machine to test.

(im not sure if i did gdb right but its a stab at it)

and this is a fresh install compared to last times install....  segfault out of the box
