Created attachment 358928 [details, diff] systemd-207-additional-picks-from-git-after-release.patch sys-apps/systemd-207 quickly needed a revision sys-apps/systemd-207-r1 with patches from git applied. But I found a couple of additional git patches from upstream that where comitted after release that are worthwhile to consider, see attachement of cherry picked patches from freedesktop upstream.
Created attachment 358932 [details, diff] systemd-207-r1-git-cherry-picks.patch Uupps, in the first attachement is a (private) hwdb patch not supposed to get cated.

First of all, we're not really into making this -208_rc1. So please limit your patches only to regression fixes and other important bug fixes. Cosmetic fixes are not really helpful. Then, please read the maintenance guide on backporting stuff [1]. Please fork our github repo, cherry-pick commits to the correct branch and preferably open a pull request for us. These two of the whole bunch of patches are surely cosmetic in my humble opinion: 84121bc2ee2b1af811a50bc6974115aba603c806 cgroup: correct the log information a5e41bdb72a15c34971469535b4c3da16f0cce55 automount: rename repeat_unmont to repeat_unmount I am pretty unsure about it by just reading 3 lines of surrounding code ...
As a non-developer I cannot get backporting done correctly. Upstream I made a bug of this: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70027 Systemd-208 gets released today any way ...
208 is already in the tree
