I do not have a crond on my machines and use vnstatd to manage the cache updating.

I thus am required to lie to Portage and claim that I have sys-process/crond installed even though I do not use any of the functionality.

ping, this has been open for 5 months; it's a one-line fix.

if nobody wants to maintain this package, I can probably proxy it.
