Description Don Seiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-20 13:31:48 UTC
repoman is taking into account my settings in /etc/portage/package.mask. For me this resulted in getting DEPEND.bad errors for sys-devel/gcc on amd64 because I had masked >=sys-devel/gcc-3.3. Today I decided to get to the bottom of it instead of always using --ignore-other-arches.

ciaranm agrees with me that repoman shouldn't be looking at my local settings for masking.

It has been fixed in CVS and 2.0.51_pre*.
Please use it or wait until it becomes stable.
