Description Sebastian 2004-04-20 09:56:36 UTC
Hi there,

I want to emerge the Return To Castle Wolfenstein port. But it doesn't build properly:

micmobil rtcw # emerge rtcw
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) games-fps/rtcw-1.41 to /

!!! No message digest entry found for file "wolf-linux-1.41-3.x86.run."
!!! Most likely a temporary problem. Try 'emerge sync' again later.
!!! If you are certain of the authenticity of the file then you may type
!!! the following to generate a new digest:
!!! ebuild /usr/portage/category/package/package-version.ebuild digest
micmobil rtcw #

Ok, when I do "build /usr/portage/category/package/package-version.ebuild digest" it starts emerging; no more errors. But then some files are missing, like /opt/rtcw/wolf.x86 and /opt/rtcw/wolfsp.x86. Well, now I can't play the game ;)

Another emerge rsync an hour later didn't fix this. So maybe you guys will encounter the same error.

Cu
Sebastian

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge rsync && emerge rtcw
2.
3.

Actual Results:
missig message digest, missing files (the startup scripts for instance).
