I'm chomping at the bit to start testing rails 4. No bugs seem to be opened in reguards to official Gentoo support, and no mention of it on the page tracking pending bumps for project ruby. No entirely sure what dependencies beyond the obvious activefoobar packages may be blocking it. Perhaps turn this bug into a tracker? Reproducible: Always
I've been working on it but currently I only have activesupport done and partial ebuilds for activemodel and actionpack. No complete list of new dependencies yet as I've been working package by package. Doing a quick check now shows met: arel-4.0.0 which has test failures that need to be investigated. activerecord-deprecated-finders is a new dependency, rudimentary ebuild ready sprockets-rails is a new dependency, but the required sprockets updates are ready. Beyond this I also want to update all the default asset-pipeline packages. Haven't investigated that yet.
Rails 4.0.0 is now in the tree.
