FYI: There are no changes needed to the app-pda/multisync-0.81-r1 ebuild to make it work with 0.82 apart from the name change.

Multisync-0.82 contains a security fix for the SyncML plug-in, see http://www.multisync.org/releases/release_notes_082.shtml for more information. It would be nice to have that security fix available in portage.
Comment 3 Lars Mautsch 2004-05-16 05:44:40 UTC
would it be possible to add an +palm flag or something else to activate palm-support (palm-plugin) in multisync?

Comment 4 Henrik Brix Andersen 2004-05-22 07:01:27 UTC
I suggest raising severity to critical because of the outstanding security fix.

Adds support for the palm_sync plugin

This ebuild builds the palm plugin if 'palm' is within the USE flags.

Bluetooth support for multisync does not work with bluez-utils-2.7. Use 2.3 or
2.4 if you need it.

app-pda/multisync-0.82 has now appeared in portage as ~x86 - I suggest marking it x86 due to the security fix to the SyncML server.
Comment 7 Henrik Brix Andersen 2004-09-26 14:02:29 UTC
