Sorry for the noise, I can understand if this suggestion is too trivial and is just closed. I would understand :-P


In order to reduce the emerge-noise a bit, I thought about removing the postinst message of virtualbox-modules (since people should figure this out using the documentation) or reducing it to just the list of modules they need to load, since the note about the 3.x version is pretty outdated.

I added a patch as a suggestion for a changed message.

This has been fixed in virtualbox-modules-4.3.x ebuilds.
