There is no digest information in dev-java/ibm-jre/files/digest-ibm-jre-1.3.1-r2. It's completely empty (zero bytes long). I've checked it on two different Gentoo systems to verify. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. ls -l /usr/portage/dev-java/ibm-jre/files/digest-ibm-jre-1.3.1-r2 2. Verify that the file is zero bytes. Actual Results: I cannot emerge ibm-jre-i.3.1 withour manually entering the checksum information. Expected Results: The digest file should have the checksum results. I had a look and couldn't find the source on IBM's web site.
You should be able to download the 1.3.1 version of the IBM JRE from the following link: https://www6.software.ibm.com/dl/lxdk/lxdk-p
This isn't really an issue anymore, we moved over the ibm-{jdk,jre}'s to ibm-{jre,jdk}-bin's Should be all to go.
