There is a new hpasm version 7.0.0 and the latest ebuild is for version 6.30.

Marek,

can I have you try the new version please and report, before I commit anything to portage.  I "maintain" this package, only because there is no maintainer.  I have no way to test this (I don't own any printers, much less hp ones).  To do a quick test, rename the old ebuild to the new ebuild, make a digest (ebuild new.ebuild digest), and emerge it.  Then test.
