Description Simon Smith 2004-04-19 05:55:27 UTC
There is a patch on the mozilla bugzilla that enables support for the side buttons without having to use the dirty imwheel hack. it allows the user to configure the action associated with the buttons (horiz-scrolling, etc) through about:config.

The attachment dated 2004-03-21 on mozilla bug #64485 works with the stock firefox 0.8. I have made it work with both 0.8-r1 and -r2. the more recent patches only work with the cvs version.

Maybe this could be put in the ebuild as a USE flag option or something like that? Although I dont think it will break anything if you dont have the extra buttons.

Reproducible: Always
