Description jms 2013-08-23 15:06:34 UTC
I had enabled EMI (when testing laptop setup ).
I encountered a kernel panic yesterday and one more today.
This is related to EMI.

in messages you get theses lines over and over

http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel/1539125/focus=1539941 (#3 - Broken.)

Okay, so, it appears that the PATCH in https://lkml.org/lkml/2013/7/17/219 fixes something but there is more going on so it is still broken for some people; as there is enough information there, I suggest you to await http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel/1539125 and the above LKML thread for resolution. Also, occasionally go through the bugs to see if another distro has fixed it regardless of upstream kernel efforts.

Good luck and hopefully that recent ML thread yields a solution soon...
