Description Wouter Coppens 2004-04-18 05:21:10 UTC
Every time I reboot my server, /dev/ppp is disapeared and I have to recreate it with mknod.

It worked before. The problems started when I updated my system.

Current versions:
 sys-fs/udev-024-r1
 sys-fs/sysfsutils-0.4.0
 sys-apps/baselayout-1.8.11

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

What kernel version are you using?
Comment 2 Wouter Coppens 2004-04-22 12:51:07 UTC
I'm using 2.6.5-gentoo-r1.

The strange thing is that after re-emerging base-layout, /dev/ppp is staying.
Everything works like before.

Good, let's mark this fixed then :)
