Even the masked mplayer in gentoo is not able to play real video streams
Example URL: http://lsd.newmedia.tiscali-business.com/bb/redirect.lsc?stream=hronline/fs/ctmagazin/040410beitraglauschangriff.rm&content=content&media=rm

There are 3 Workarounds for this bug: 

1. Install realplayer 8 (no fullsreen support)
2. Use realone (stopped for me sometimes, no goodlooking video)
3. Installing a cvs snapshot. Would be nice to see an ebuild for snapshots sometimes(I'm new to gentoo, sorry cant write it myself).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Save the real stream redirect file to hd
2. Read the url ending .rm out of the redirect.lsc File
3. Open it in "mplayer rtsp://**eedrrf.rm"
Actual Results:  
It errored out with 404.

Expected Results:  
Mplayer should start to play the stream
