adding the ~amd64 flag to /usr/portage/media-sound/pmidi/pmidi-1.5.5.ebuild allowed it to build, install and successfully run the application.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. add ~amd64 to /usr/portage/media-sound/pmidi/pmidi-1.5.5.ebuild
2. emerge pmidi
3. 

Actual Results:  
successfully build and installed pmidi 
 
test drive: 
% pmidi -l 72:0 therobots.mid 
 
I can hear some Kraftwerk song playing :-)
