One of the kde-base/kwin dependencies, kde-base/kephal, does not seem to build unless media-libs/qimageblitz is already installed, however media-libs/qimageblitz is not currently a dependency for kde-base/kephal. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install kde-base/kwin separately from KDE 2. 3. Actual Results: kde-base/kephal fails to build. Expected Results: kde-base/kephal should pull in all dependencies for itself, including media-libs/qimageblitz

Thank-you for the report, and I am sorry you hit this issue in a stable package. This is a regression I introduced whilst reducing unconditional dependencies in the eclass. All packages that actually require the dependency now have it added, and the hard requirement is now removed through the eclass.
