Description Jim Marshall 2002-07-10 12:54:09 UTC
Attached is an ebuild for Angband, version 3.0.0. Angband is a popular
roguelike hack-n-slash game, derived from the classic Moria. Angband can run
either under the console, or optionally in multiple windows with simple tile-
based graphics under X11.

Note: This software can be built with GTK, but it also wants to be
setgid "games" so that it can write score and save files. GTK refuses to run
when linked to a setgid program, so I chose to drop the option to use GTK. The
GTK support, in my mind, isn't enough to make up for the loss of system-wide,
untamperable, score and save files. This is something of a big deal, because
the idea in this style of game is that when you "die", the game's over for
good.
