I am trying to update my system and I got a message from Ipproute-20010408 saying "Please compile your kernel first". Very strange since I am already running the latest (not-gentoo source) kernel (mean 2.6.5). I tried to inject an older kernel version (2.4.25) but same errors. Please note I am using glibc-2.3.3 and linux-headers-2.6.5, I was walking on cutting edge but now I am back to stable (mean I recently used ~x86 keyword to install some very beta package but now I'm back to x86 keyword) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Since I don't really know what cause this problem, it is hard to tell how to reproduce it. I think it could be something about "not-gentoo" 2.6.X kernel sources used with linux-headers 2.6.X that confuse this (some) package. Other packages compile well. Actual Results: emerge failed with error msg "Please, Compile your kernel first" (?) I am using very beta libs/utilities, like gcc-3.3.3, glibc-2.3.3 and linux-headers 2.6.5. Also, as stated before, my kernel was update by hand, I got the source from kernel.org, instead of using gentoo one. re-emerge your linux-headers if /usr/include/linux/autoconf.h doesnt exist
