beep-media-player hasn't been updated since January, and they have released an official CVS snapshot, at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=95272&package_id=101528&release_id=200876 . I'm assuming one of these could be released ~x86 like the glibc cvs snapshots are, as these have many new features. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
The ebuilds really should be updated, as I've seen in their forums as a solution to bugs: "0.9.6.1 is outdated and buggy. You really should grab a CVS release"
