FYI: There is a new version 1.6 of HPIJS from http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net available.

hpijs now support KRGB. Requrires the new ESP ghostscript (in CVS) but is fully backwards compatible.

seems 1.6.1 is out (7/7/04)

HPIJS 1.6.1 This HP Linux Inkjet Driver (HPIJS) release has the following changes.
1. Added PPD files for the following new printers. There are no HPIJS code changes.
