Description hodak 2004-04-16 20:31:03 UTC
I have gtk2 and gpm flags on, but these are ignored when compiling aumix. I see the following configure messages:
Compiling without GPM support
Compiling without GTK+ 2.0.
Compiling without GTK+ 1.2.
After emerge, aumix opens in xterm instead in separate gtk window.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.USE="gtk2" emerge aumix
2.Open xterm
3.run aumix in xterm

Actual Results:
aumix opens in terminal

Expected Results:
SHould open spearate gtk window

Here is part of emerge:
# emerge -av aumix

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild R ] media-sound/aumix-2.8 +gnome +gpm +gtk +gtk2 +nls 0 kB

Total size of downloads: 0 kB

Do you want me to merge these packages? [Yes/No]

patch to aumix-2.8.ebuild

I looked at the ebuild and the config options of aumix, and unless I missed
something, --with-gtk and --with-gtk1 are not valid options. The patch above
removes those 2 options from myconf and after this aumix built properly on my
system.

Please, also note, that one more thing that needs to be fixed is error occuring
just after unpacking (see post above):
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 26: local: `--enable-nls': not a valid identifier
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 26: local: `--enable-nls': not a valid identifier
