OK, it looks like this is being caused by USE="-handbook" not being respected.
This appears to be caused by upstream incorrectly recreating monolithic kdenetwork tarballs after migrating it to git. kdenetwork-4.10.4: doc/${PN} kdenetwork-4.10.5: ${PN}/doc It looks like this issue could be solved by setting S=${WORKDIR}/${P}/${PN} in each kdenetwork ebuild.
I confirm this is fixed in krdc-4.11.0. Closing. Thanks.
