Hello! :) Please find attached the updated centericq-4.9.12.ebuild : - updated from *11 to *12. - deps to libsigc++ and glib were dropped in earlier versions (see the Centericq Changelog file): removed, tested, works fine on ~x86. Cheers, Johnny.

Please honour MSN support in DESCRIPTION as well as option --disable-msn since MSN support was readded by maintainer Konstantin. Thanks.
Created attachment 29364 [details] centericq-4.9.12.ebuild (--disable-* Options list comment updated, this is the one you want :) ) - honour readded MSN support. - updated options list comment.
tested - works fine over here - plz bump ...
By the way, some problems like with the German umlauts (which were there in 4.9.11) are fixed in 4.9.12. For that and because of the removal of dependencies (which actually happend already in 4.9.3 and 4.9.8 IIRC, someone forgot to take a look it seems ;-) ), CenterICQ users would really love to see this one be updated. Or is there still issues? Thanks.
Does this need nls and namespace patches, like earlier versions?

Created attachment 30163 [details, diff] namespace patch missing namespace patch
I am a moron, having a day of idiocy. NLS is unnecessary. Sorry for the mess.
I don't see nls.patch and missing_namespace.patch are necessary as everything works fine here. If someone experiences problems or has a reason please post, else bug the maintainer Konstantin. missing_namespace.patch is supposed to have fixed compile problems, do they still exist? If they do, I would like to commit this one to Konstantin so everyone profits.
Nope, can't confirm it as a bug here either. Using: centericq-4.9.12.ebuild (--disable-* Options list comment updated, this is the one you want :) ) I emerged the package and it went through successfully: >>> net-im/centericq-4.9.12 merged. So works for me.
In portage now, thanks.
