Description Giovanni De Gasperis 2004-04-15 09:53:58 UTC
I emerged kdevelop 3.0.1 and used an author name like 'Bill & Joe' using the wizard for a new project.
Afterwards the project can not be loaded, always complaining "bad format".
Has been discovered also by KDE team in kdevelop 3.0.0a.
Why their patch has not be included in kdevelop-3.0.1 ebuild?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open kdevelop
2. Project/New Project/C++ console application
3. Put 'Bill & Joe' in the author field
4. finish the wizard
Actual Results:
the project xml file is not readable anymore

Expected Results:
use an xml/HTML coding of special characters

Also reported as KDE bug #61031

what about kdevelop 3.0.2?

This says it was fixed on 10-10-2003, so it should be in the source. Closing as fixed.
