The "Server Side Filters" plugin (newest version) would be a great addition as it's a nice "front end" for Procmail or Maildrop. http://sourceforge.net/projects/serverfilters/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This project is dead, isn't it?
I'm not really sure if it's dead or not - but it does work if you can get it to compile properly. I haven't gotten it to work in a vmail environment yet, though. Haven't put much time into it.
Changelog for 1.5 - they added mysql support. Woohoo! This will be a HUGE plus to have with the Virtual-Mail hosting howto. Version 1.5 ----------- - Added MySQL lookup functionality for systems where virtual user UIDs, GIDs, and home directories are stored in a MySQL database - Added LDAP lookup functionality for systems where virtual user UIDs, GIDs, and home directories are stored in a LDAP database - Added single virtual domain owner fallback for systems where all virtual users share the same real user UID/GID - Cleanup of C and PHP code, revision of documentation, XHTML updates (much cleanup left to do) - Fixed problems setting filters when using in languages other than English - Moved all code out of setup.php per SM plugin specs - Now uses SquirrelMail attachments directory instead of system-dependent /tmp directory - Properly remove all temporary files - Removed use of chdir() - Fixed problem where adding SPAM filter was causing PHP warnings and erasing all other filters - Added new config parameter that allows use of "special" spam filter even when SpamAssassin (or similar tagging tool) is not called via the filter file. - Closed security problem where Maildrop filters could be exploited to make Maildrop run any shell commands. - Added new checkcreds_imap alternative to the UW c-client library (thanks to David Phillips <david at geektech.com>). - Added vacation rctypes to filtercmd script as well as delrc command to remove files.
We are not adding squirrelmail plugins (plus it's pretty much dead). WONTFIX.
(In reply to comment #4) > We are not adding squirrelmail plugins (plus it's pretty much dead). > > WONTFIX. > It's not dead. here's what the authors have to say: "Interesting that they say this when it's never been said here, and they've never asked here. You should tell them in no uncertain terms that it IS NOT DEAD. It is true, however, that the authors have not had much support time on their hands the last year, but the CVS code is pretty solid, and getting the plugin to work in other environments where it apparently does not is still of interest to us." Just an FYI.
