electricsheep version 2.5 ebuild

ebuild for electricsheep version 2.5
xscreensaver added as a dependancy
Comment 2 Brian Bernstein 2004-04-14 22:04:54 UTC
Changing the name of the ebuild for the new version automagically works
for downloading the new version, 2.5.
I also added x11-misc/xscreensaver as a dependancy for the ebuild as I did not
have it installed and felt it was necessary.
I'll attach the adjusted ebuild, it'll just need to be updated to the rsync
now.

Comment 4 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-24 02:04:27 UTC
version bump commited with added dependancies.

Can you please test and tell me if it works for you.

Also can you do:
ldd /usr/bin/anim-flame /usr/bin/hqi-flame /usr/bin/pick-flame /usr/bin/convert-flame /usr/bin/mpeg2dec_onroot /usr/bin/electricsheep | cut -f3 -d ' ' | xargs -n 1 qpkg -f -v | sort | uniq

and post the output back here. I'm trying to work out weither media-libs/nas and media-libs/alsa-lib are dependancies or have just been linked because they were auto detected. As such can you tell me weither media-libs/nas and/or media-libs/alsa-lib are installed on your system.

please test.
Comment 6 Aaron Wilson 2004-04-25 23:33:27 UTC
Sorry, I was a little busy.

The ebuild works perfectly, and I'll attach the output of the ldd.

I didn't mean to sound pushy. I had to put a comment in to change to a test state. Thanks for your feedback and verifying it works.

I've added media-libs/{alsa-libs,nas} to the dependancies. Your sys-libs/slang and media-libs/aalib libraries have been compiled into electric sheep because they existed on your system. I haven't listed them as dependancies so be careful of removeing them. I've also emailed the author to getthose libraries as optionally included (use flags).

Thanks for the submission.

Sparc people - Just a test request here. Version 2.5 seems to depend on media-libs/svgalib which is masked on sparc. Previous version listed electricsheep as sparc friendly.

There is also media-libs/alsa-libs in the deps too. I doubt this is going to be sparc friendly ;-(
