Description manuels 2004-04-14 12:22:47 UTC
Hi,
anytime I want to get click on "Recieve/Send new mails" (maybe like that (my one is german)) I get these error lines:

(evolution:4133): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:2010: instance `0x82f66d8' has no handler with id `2323'

(evolution:4133): Bonobo-CRITICAL **: file bonobo-control-frame.c: line 720 (bonobo_control_frame_set_ui_container): assertion `frame->priv->activated == FALSE' failed

and the "Getting new Mails"-window disappears suddenly.
I have already reemerged evolution (also with ~x86 keyword)
Some days ago it all went fine but now I get this error (no idea why)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

gnome-apps/evolution needs to be removed too.

@ #3
please explain yourself?
Comment 3 manuels 2004-04-19 05:23:19 UTC
Spider: do you mean me?

Daniel Black:
emerge -C gnome-apps/evolution -p

>>> These are the packages that I would unmerge:

--- Couldn't find gnome-apps/evolution to unmerge.
Comment 4 Spider (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-19 09:24:02 UTC
no, I meant dragonheart, I wondered where he got the gnome-apps from.
Comment 5 Spider (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-19 09:30:28 UTC
no, I meant dragonheart, I wondered where he got the gnome-apps from, and what he meant with the statement.
Comment 6 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-19 09:34:13 UTC
well.. i think he means to file another bug (dh : keep bugs/issues seperated !) .
Earlier today he mentioned a similar thing about gnome-libs. dragonheart : those dirs have been in the attic since a long long time.
Comment 7 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-25 12:03:55 UTC
well, back to the original bug. try lowering your CFLAGS to something less aggressive and recompile gal, libgtkhtml and evolution
