Hi, anytime I want to get click on "Recieve/Send new mails" (maybe like that (my one is german)) I get these error lines: (evolution:4133): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:2010: instance `0x82f66d8' has no handler with id `2323' (evolution:4133): Bonobo-CRITICAL **: file bonobo-control-frame.c: line 720 (bonobo_control_frame_set_ui_container): assertion `frame->priv->activated == FALSE' failed and the "Getting new Mails"-window disappears suddenly. I have already reemerged evolution (also with ~x86 keyword) Some days ago it all went fine but now I get this error (no idea why) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: emerge info: Portage 2.0.50-r5 (default-x86-2004.0, gcc-3.3.2, glibc-2.3.2-r9, 2.6.5-mm1) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.5-mm1 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2400+ Gentoo Base System version 1.4.3.13 Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.58-r1 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.3 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -O3 -pipe -fforce-addr -fomit-frame-pointer -msse -mfpm ath=sse -mmmx -m3dnow" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.2 /share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -O3 -pipe -fforce-addr -fomit-frame-pointer -msse -mf pmath=sse -mmmx -m3dnow" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs ccache sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linu x/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/portage/" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="3dnow X aalib alsa apm arts avi berkdb cdr crypt cups dvd encode esd foomat icdb gdbm gif gnome gpm gtk gtk2 imlib java jpeg kde ldap libg++ libwww linguas_ de linguas_en lirc mad mikmod motif mpeg mysql ncurses nls oggvorbis opengl oss pam pdflib perl png python qt quicktime readline samba sdl slang spell ssl svga tcltk tcpd truetype usb x86 xml2 xmms xv zlib"
gnome-apps/evolution needs to be removed too.
@ #3 please explain yourself?
Spider: do you mean me? Daniel Black: emerge -C gnome-apps/evolution -p >>> These are the packages that I would unmerge: --- Couldn't find gnome-apps/evolution to unmerge.
no, I meant dragonheart, I wondered where he got the gnome-apps from.
no, I meant dragonheart, I wondered where he got the gnome-apps from, and what he meant with the statement.
well.. i think he means to file another bug (dh : keep bugs/issues seperated !) . Earlier today he mentioned a similar thing about gnome-libs. dragonheart : those dirs have been in the attic since a long long time.
well, back to the original bug. try lowering your CFLAGS to something less aggressive and recompile gal, libgtkhtml and evolution
