Created attachment 354078 [details] logo Hi, My employer, Imagination Technologies, donated 2 x MIPS64 Ubiquiti ERLite-3 routers to Gentoo. One of these routers is with me, the other one is with Anthony (blueness). I am also using internal resources to keep all the MIPS stages reasonably updated. As discussed with Robin, I am attaching the needed information for the donation as described in http://www.gentoo.org/foundation/en/sponsorship-and-advertising-guide.xml I don't have the sidebar info yet, but I will update the bug as soon as I have it. However, I think we can proceed with what we have right now. Robin and I also discussed the possibility for an announcement via pr@g.o and/or website news etc. If you need more information please let me know.

I don't know about the announcement (was for before my time) but robbat2 updated the sponsor page on August 17th.

Actually, the PR team should be the ones sending said announcement, and I thought they were already CC'd here.
The only news items I have done, that hit the front page are announcements for new releases, conferences, stuff like that; http://www.gentoo.org/rdf/en/gentoo-news.rdf As for donations, the person that is using the hardware will post a blog about the donation and how he/she is using it with Gentoo etc.

I personally would like to see an announcement since I don't use my blog that much anymore and it does not get the same coverage/attention as an item on the front page. The sponsor's text (attached on this bug) also says how we use the hardware. The announcement text is pretty much included in that attachment, you just need to convert it to a proper announcement :)
