emerge --info

When I first tried the install process stopped while configuring. There was an error about a missing redland dependency. I installed redland, tried again and the package did the configuration and the compile.

Unfortunately I no longer have the original build.log

I couldn't test if the actual install is working.

Yes seemed to be an error on my side or, let's say, especially in front of the keyboard.

I don't know, when I checked it again today everything looked fine. No explanation. :(

Sorry for squandering the time and thanks for the fast response.
Cheers
Stefan
