Description Yannick 2004-04-13 10:58:38 UTC
It was impossible to emerge mc (midnight commander)
I think this last since a long time even if I did not find anything in bugzilla
I copy paste the output:

# emerge app-misc/mc
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) app-misc/mc-4.6.0-r5 to /
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) mc-4.6.0.tar.gz
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) mc-4.6.0-sambalib-3.0.0.patch.bz2
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) mc-4.6.0-sambalib.patch.bz2
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking mc-4.6.0.tar.gz to /var/tmp/portage/mc-4.6.0-r5/work
 * Applying mc-4.6.0-sambalib.patch.bz2...                                 [ ok ]
 * Applying mc-4.6.0-find.patch...

 * Failed Patch: mc-4.6.0-find.patch!
 *
 * Include in your bugreport the contents of:
 *
 *   /var/tmp/portage/mc-4.6.0-r5/temp/mc-4.6.0-find.patch-31966.out

works here, try to sync again, if it still fails post the output of the file mentioned in the error.
Comment 2 Yannick 2004-04-13 13:28:16 UTC
I deleted the file downloaded for mc and rsync again

my flags, just in case:
app-misc/mc-4.6.0-r5  -X -gpm +ncurses +nls -samba -slang  0 kB

# cat /var/tmp/portage/mc-4.6.0-r5/temp/mc-4.6.0-find.patch-1266.out
***** mc-4.6.0-find.patch *****
